Correspondence Database
This simple database captures information about incoming and outgoing mail and assigns each to the appropriate “Project File”.

In many businesses, the loss of a single item of correspondence about contractual matters can be a major catastrophe, or at least can cause huge amounts of work in identifying the exact nature and scope of contract variations etc.
A database of correspondence is merely the first step in a document management system, a database that records all of the documents associated with a project, not just the mail, but also e-mail, faxes, computer documents, spreadsheets, together with notes made about conversations, all of the company’s documents that track changes, defects and repairs, etc., etc., etc…
